Imperial cities of Morocco Kasbahs and camel trek 10D 9N
This tour can start from Marrakech or Casablanca or Fes.
Day 1: Airport – casablanca
Transfer to your Casablanca hotel. Dinner and night.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes
After breakfast at your hotel, you will start your trip by visiting the Hassan II Mosque before departing to Rabat. In Rabat you can visit the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, the ruins of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. After lunch we will depart to Meknes to arrive early evening.
Day 3: Meknes -Volubilis -FES
After breakfast, your guide will take you on a tour to Meknes, and after lunch you will continue to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will spend the afternoon exploring the 2000-year-old ruins and getting a picture of life during the Roman Empire. Dinner will be served in the hotel in fes.
Day 4 – 5 : Fes
Fes is a city to be explored and where time has stood still in the old city. It is known to be one of the greatest cities in times of high Islamic civilisation. Walking the streets of the old town of Fes will take you back in time.
We hire an official city guide to take us on a guided town of Fes old town. Visit the tanneries, and many traditional workshops including stonework, jewellery, carpet, pottery and watch craftsmen at work. This is seen not only in shops but working the tiny alleyways through the old town. At no time on tour will you be expected to purchase anything as this is a tour purely to enjoy the sights of Fes.
After a nice leisurely lunch we will check out some of the sights including ou Inania Medersa, Batha Museum, and Kairaouine Mosque, Andalusian Mosque and Moulay Abdellah Quarter.
Day 6 : Fes to Merzouga by the way of Ifrane Midelt and Atlas mountains.
After breakfast in your riad, you will leave Fes voyaging towards Ifran, a wonderful mountains village, alluded to as “the Switzerland of Morocco” and after that on to Midelt. Throughout this excursion you’ll experience impressions of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Halting at Azrou, a Berber village amidst the well known cedar woods – the biggest in Morocco – where you might well locate Barbary gorillas. After spending some time inside the woods, your adventure proceeds to Midelt along the great slopes and heaps of the Atlas, after Midelt town you will be going through the entrancing Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in perspectives of the High Atlas level, you’ll perceive how the view changes to uncover clues of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, here you will eat and delight in the Berber cordiality. A while later, you will go along the rich Ziz Valley, halting for surrounding perspectives along the best approach to Erfoud and Rissani.
Land at Merzouga on the evening. You’ll be invited with a glass of mint tea before you camel ride, guided by an encountered camel man to investigate inside the brilliant sand ocean of Merzouga. Supper before the tent where you will use the night. (Bdb).
Day 7 : Merzouga to Dades through Todgha gorges and Tinghir.
Your camelman will wake you up early in the morning to watch what well may be the best day break of your existence. You’ll calmly camel-trek once again to the village of Merzouga. Enroute you couldn’t neglect to like the remarkable magnificence of the dynamite Erg Chebbi sand rises – changing with the light as the day advances. After breakfast in the riad, you’ll leave for Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges – the most elevated, narrowest canyons in Morocco. After lunch in the heart of the chasm we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the grand sand manors and the stunning shake arrangements regarded as “monkey toes”. Overnight settlement will be in Hotel Kasbah in the crevasses.
Day 8 : Dades canyons to Marrakech via Ouarzazate Ait benhaddou Kasbah and hight Atlas Mountains.
After your breakfast at the hotel,we will begin the most recent day in our trek driving via the thousand kasbah track, the rose vally, a visit to Skoura oisis with its credible 17 century kasbah, a visit to Taourirt kasbah (the previous habitation of the Glaoui), lunch in Ourzazate, 4 hours drive by means of the tizi ntichka pass with stops along, get to Marrakech at 6:00 pm.
Day 9 : Explore Marrakech
you will explore Marrakech‘s historical sites: Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. Tour the walls of the old medina, Agdal Gardens, the new gueliz district, the markets, and the famous Djemaa el Fna Square. The famous square – the size of a football field -is as it was 500 years ago: storytellers, vendors of Magic potions, dancers, snake charmers, and acrobats. Dinner, Hotel with breakfast .
Day 10 : Transfer to Marrakech airport or Casablanca airport.
