Fes Marrakech Desert Tour 5 days program
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast, we depart for Midelt through the mountains and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou an important handicraft center specialized in the work of cedar wood. After stepping Zad (2,178 m / 7,146 m), you arrive to Midelt for lunch. In the afternoon drive to Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley dotted with palm trees. We continue on to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in the desert tour. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Merzouga.
Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga
After breakfast, you can enjoy the great ride through the dunes: 2 oases of Merzouga, the wandering deposit, the village of Khamlia (village of Gnaoua) MIFISS mines, desert plates with the meeting of the Berber nomads of the desert, TISSARDMINE oasis. Back to the hotel around 3:00 for to preparte for the camel ride into the dunes and into the sunset. Spending the night in a Berber tent in the dunes. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Touroug – Tinjdad – Tinghir – Toudra gorges – Boumalne – Dades Valley – Dades Gorges
Early in the morning getting up early to see the sunrise, return with camels to the hotel. After breakfast, departure to Rissani and Erfoud to visit the treatment or fossiles and marble before continuing via Touroug and palmgrove Tinjdad. We arrive at Toudra Gorge and have lunch at this place in the afternoon. Then we will reach the Dades gorges through Boumalne and the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 4 : Dades Gorges – Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Kelaa M ‘Gouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate
After breakfast we return to the Dades valley and visit the Kasbah of Ait youl, the track raod crossing rose valley with its Kasbahs and ksour, in this part you can see beautiful landscapes before reaching Kelaa Mgouna. We have lunch in the way after the start at noon to the Skoura palm trees and visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Continuation to Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
After breakfast, the entire day is dedicated to the visit of Ouarzazate: the Kasbah of Taourirt, Tifoultout and the film studio. Then you will drive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (under UNESCO protection), visit the Kasbah and the old village afternoon departure to Marrakech via the Tizi-N-Ticha passage, arrival in Marrakech at around 5:30 pm.
